You've had a busy month! I love that you got back in the saddle and got dirty digging up dirt. So good for you. Thanks for sharing this length of your journey.
Thank you for your honest account of how you've gotten through to 1,000 subscribers. I'm in that lengthy process at the moment, pledging to write each week for a year and giving Substack a 'good' go. I'm over halfway through and plugging away the best I know how. Can I last the remaining time? I sometimes wonder. But I'm going to give it a go! Thanks for the optimism.
I love that, Cerina! I think giving yourself a year to get going on here is a great idea. It takes a while to see any success on Substack, and it also takes time to learn what you’re doing! Just keep chugging away! 🙂
It's been a while since I've heard "nincompoop". We've all been to Nincompoop City. This reveals you're human, Em. (I called you Em like we're old friends. 😀) Good job on staying active and "optimistic". 💖😉
I LOVE this! All of it, and I'm so happy to be a part of July edition. Thank you Emma. Your newsletter is precious, and I mean it!!!
Ah thanks so much, Nina! I am so glad we’re connected on here! 🥲
Same!

Thanks so much, Sheri! Being in dirt and dust was just what I needed this month
I love this post, and that through you sharing quotes I discovered Zuza Zak’s stack. I had her on my show a while back and love her cookbooks!
Oh no way!! That is so amazing!

Aw, I love being called Em! That’s what my friends and family call me 🤙
And yes… nincompoop is a funny word and just totally summed out how silly I felt 🤣
Thank you 🤩
